Exchanges, Shipping, and Returns

Exchanges

If you find that the kite you ordered is not exactly the size you want, or if you would prefer the water re-launchable version, we’d love to exchange your kite for one that you do want within 30 days.  Simply:

  1. Let us know that you would like to exchange, and tell us which kite you would prefer.
  2. We will send you the exchange instructions.
  3. Mail your kite back to us.
  4. We’ll bill or refund you the difference in price.
  5. Once we get the exchanged kite, we’ll mail you your new one.
  6. Voila!  You’ve got the perfect kite!

Returns Policy 

You may return new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Sales and Clearance Items – Because we were able to give you such a steal of a deal on sales or clearance items, these sales are considered final.  Still, if you would really like to exchange something, we can probably work out a deal.  Just contact us and we’ll do our best to help!

Shipping

Shipping to the continental USA and Canada is free for all orders over $100.

Orders in the USA

Orders in the United States are shipped to you free of charge via UPS Ground.

If you would like faster expedited shipping, the cost varies depending on your location, but generally is between $20 - $30. Please email for a quote, and include your mailing address.

Orders in Canada

Orders in Canada are shipped out of Canada, free of charge. They are shipped by Canada Post Parcel Post, and usually arrive within 5-10 business days.

Faster X-Press Post shipping costs between $20 - $30. Please email for a quote!

International Orders

Please email for a quote if you would like something to be shipped internationally.  We can ship to virtually any address in the world, however due to shipping costs, you might like to know beforehand!

Shipping Locations

Orders in the USA are shipped from: Powells Point, NC 27966, USA.

Orders in Canada are shipped from: Kamloops, B.C, V2B 1V7, Canada.

Warrantees

Because we look for the highest quality kites, warrantee issues are rare.  However, if something goes wrong with your kite that shouldn’t, we will do everything we can to help.  If this happens, email us (info (at) kiteboardingevolution.com) - we’ll get in touch with the manufacturer and get you a replacement for the defective part.

Note – Because kiteboarding is such a high powered activity, it’s important to distinguish between regular use and abnormal use.  It’s possible to completely destroy any kite and still not have a warrantee issue (trust me, I’ve done it).  We cannot accept trades or warrantee claims on kites that have been damaged as a result of how it was flown (i.e – if it has been flown into a tree, or smashed repeatedly on the ground, or dragged behind a boat etc...).

On the other hand, issues that are caused by faults in construction or assembly are easy to fix warrantee items.  Just let us know if it happens (or even if you need help determining if you have a warrantee issue or not).
